In Magazine Article, A&S Political Science Professor Assesses Future Treasury Secretary's Role in Economy

Tiffany D. Barnes, associate professor of political science in the University of Kentucky's College of Arts & Sciences, has co-written an article for Ms. magazine on Janet Yellen the former chair of the Federal Reserve who is President-elect Joe Biden's choice for treasury secretary. Her co-author is Diana Z. O'Brien of Rice University.

The Department of Political Science joins the College of Arts & Sciences in standing in solidarity “with those working to confront systemic racial injustice in our communities and in the United States. 5 A&S Alumni Receive Fulbright Scholarships

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 5, 2020) — University of Kentucky Office of Nationally Competitive Awards has announced that five recent UK graduates of the College of Arts & Sciences received Fulbright U.S. Student Program scholarships. The UK recipients are among approximately 2,100 U.S. students who will travel abroad for the 2020-21 academic year.
