The Visiting Scholars Panel from a "Democracy, Citizenship, and Violence in Latin America" mini-conference hosted by Latin American, Caribbean, and Latino Studies at the University of Kentucky, cohosted by the Political Science Department and organized in part by Prof. Abby Cordova. Guests were [from right] Dr. Guillermo Trejo (Political Science at Notre Dame), Dr. Carew Boulding (Political Science at Colorado), and Dr. Gabriela Torres (Anthropology from Wheaton College). Earlier, the mini-conference heard an address from Rutgers historian Dr. Temma Kaplan on Latin American struggles over water.
