Nazmus Sakib
Nazmus Sakib is a Lecturer in the Lewis Honors College and an Assistant Professor (secondary appointment) in the Political Science department. He holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from Texas Tech University, and an M.S.Sc. and B.S.Sc in Economics from the University of Dhaka. His research interests include international security, foreign policy, military alliances, civil military relations, immigration, international relations of South Asia and the Middle East etc. His peer reveiwed works have appeared in Politics and Policy, Journal of International Migration and Integration, Research in Economics, and European Politics and Society Journal. His public scholarship-oriented opinion pieces have appeared in Newsweek, Forbes, the National Interest, etc. He enjoys hiking, cooking, blogging, and spending time with family and friends.
