Ph.D. Candidate

Jingwen Wu is a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political Science at the University of Kentucky. She obtained her bachelor's degree from the Central University of Nationalities in Beijing, China, and her MPA degree from Morehead State University, where she graduated with honors as an outstanding graduate student.

Her research focuses on comparative politics and international relations, with a special emphasis on the impact of Modern Communication Technologies (MCTs) on different political outcomes, including human rights, women's rights, and political participation.
